Sustainability policy

Sustainability improves the quality of our lives, protects our ecosystem and preserves natural resources for future generations.

Maggie is committed to going green; leaving the world a better place than it was when we started out.

Our Targets

  1. Adhere to current environmental legislation.

  2. Streamline business processes, creating less waste and using less energy.

  3. Integrate sustainability considerations into our business decisions.

  4. Ensure that all staff are fully aware of our Sustainability policy and are committed to implementing and improving it.

  5. Minimise the environmental impact of our transportation activities.

  6. Make clients and suppliers aware of our Sustainability policy, encouraging them to adopt sound sustainable management practices.

  7. Continually strive to improve our sustainability performance.

Remote First Working

Maggie is a remote first company; which means all employees work from home/locations close to home to reduce daily travel carbon emissions. Video calls are at our core. We keep traveling to physical meetings to a minimum; unless it’s essential or can be combined with other work.

Equipment

We’re a paperless business, using digital software/resources for all of our admin and accounting to help reduce material waste.

Technology

We’re aware that e-waste is fast becoming the biggest crisis, arguably bigger than plastic.

As a company we use cloud technology wherever possible, minimising local resources and therefore reducing waste. Company technology such as laptops, we look to purchase refurbished, to help combat the e-waste crisis.

Travel

We aim to use local companies and minimise travel where possible. If travelling for work, we encourage our team to use sustainable transport solutions.

We review our business practises regularly. Typically every quarter.
